I remember the winter of 71.

Let's see, I was in San Antonio,TX playing touch football in short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

In the snowfall in 71, we were lucky enough to live near two wonderful couples...we combined food for suppers, wallpapered a bedroom, and in general became fast friends. So while it was a stressful time, there were great times as well. We should all be so lucky to be forced to get to know our neighbors!

Remember, folks...when it's cold and snowing, it's really because it's warmer.

A big snow storm is easier to deal with than an ice storm. At least Wichita still has electric power. Just drive slower than normal and don't make any sudden turns or stops. Enjoy the rare white christmas at home. Are you ready Bing? 1, 2, 3, 4...
